Hold onto your fedoras — we’re diving into America’s most colorful history!
First, Cat takes us to Hot Springs, Arkansas — a town that was once the vacation destination for America’s most notorious gangsters. Al Capone, Owney Madden, and a cast of colorful characters made this their playground during Prohibition. Robert Reigns from the Gangster Museum shares incredible stories about bootleggers, speakeasies, and the surprising celebrities who visited — from Babe Ruth to Franklin Roosevelt (who came for the healing waters to treat his polio).
Then we head to the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda to meet Wendy Kay, a music promoter with over 40 years in the business. This dynamo has worked with everyone from Gary U.S. Bonds to Michael Jackson, and she’s still booking incredible shows at historic theaters.
History, music, and larger-than-life personalities — this episode has it all!
