Welcome to St. Augustine, FL, a unique area with a lot of love to give. There are so many experiences you can have in this magical city. How cool! I got a chance to learn about the history of St. Augustine and enjoyed an array of treats from chocolate to popsicles.
I was on a beautiful road trip and got a bit tired so I stopped off in St. Augustine, FL to grab a bite. I happened to run into this chocolate shop owner about the give a tour. She asked, “Are you here for my tour?” and I said, “I feel like I should be!” This is where my journey through the oldest city in the United States started. I met a variety of new friends. Some were business owners themselves, but others were touring just like I was.
Vanessa Maxwell was my tour guide through the city under “four flags.” This was the perfect place to stop. I learned so much about the history of this amazing city. We had a blast touring the popsicle shops as well as the Pirate Hostile in town. There was, also, an adorable brunch bar called “Ancient City.” It was a business that was created after two young women had to create a business plan for a restaurant for their high school entrepreneurship class. A project turned into reality!
Wherever we travel or go, we are all connected by those who are excited and ready to live their passions.
