Founding Passionate Living

Background

Launching her publishing career in 1991, Catherine “Cat” Miller organized a series of local educational conferences focused on the topic of alternative medicine. This planted the seed for a publication called Holistic Health Journal (HHJ). Catherine’s visionary nature and strategic skills soon boosted Holistic Health Journal into an internationally acclaimed magazine with placement in all major bookstores in the US and Canada, with a peak readership of 140,000 bi-monthly.

Catherine’s visibility grew alongside of her publication with a review board of highly acclaimed leaders in the world of health and consciousness. Her success and integrity launched her into the spotlight as an international voice in the field of health and wellness. From organizing the Complementary Medicine speaking series for MD’s in Los Angeles to initiating the first Complementary Medicine elective for the University of Buffalo Medical School, she has been a primary influence in bringing complementary therapies to the forefront.

From the launch of HHJ, Catherine’s vision expanded to create a more broad appealing, cutting-edge multi-media company called Passionate Living. Utilizing a synergistic combination of print media, web and radio, Passionate Living inspires audiences to “fall in love with their own lives.”
