Bobby and Helen Lebel are two of my favorite people in the entire world. Each hangout with them is something different and I can’t say enough about them, both.

We had a hangout recently and we talked about the music process and how that process was formed in the past as well. They write chords then find the lyrics to go with those chords. Helen starts their songs on a piano and Bobby, then, translates that to guitar. It’s really wonderful to watch the process first hand.

We talked about the history of Rock & Roll for a moment – speaking about how Elvis Presley really pioneered the Rock & Roll movement by taking some pointers from the Country singers & songwriters and then translating that to his own style on the guitar. I love hearing all about the Rock & Roll history of our amazing music culture.
